On September 14th we took a trip to the Denver Zoo. The weather was really beautiful and the temperature was only in the 60's...perfect for walking around in the sun. We've taken Madeeha to the zoo a couple of times before, but this was the first time that she was actually interested in everything. Imran said that this was the most fun he had ever had at the zoo. He was having a good time showing everything to his princess.

Hungry hippo. He was loud when he ate. His mouth was scraping the ground and he was chomping on the food. They are kind of gross...every time he closed his mouth, this blubbery, pink and white, cellulitey blob would pop out of the side.
